The days just seem to fly bye! Hubby and I just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary on August 10. We have been trying to get reservations for NY with our time share, but they seemed to be booked. We did spend our day at Laguna Beach and that was fun. My grand daughter Jazmyn and I celebrated out birthdays on August 12, the first day back at school. I have been busy working on my various Bible studies and just stared one at church on King David. It will be hot here in So California through October so it is still summer here.
My regular blog is at Susan's Garden of Friendship The link is to the right. Lots of inspirational pages too. I hope to see you there!

Happy Summer!
I have had a blog for 17 years and a website for 19. The link is to the right. But the comment board is no longer working. I have also been busy with online camps and studies. During the summer we have the grandkids for several days. So my time at my website has declined. There was a time when there was a large community of people that had websites like mine using country graphics. There were lots of graphic artist making graphics to decorate our pages. We would all visit each other's web homes and signed a guestbook to leave a message. Later a tag board/comment board was added. Then came Facebook, a great social network that is free. So lots of my friend eventually let their webhomes go. I am a dinosaur. It is hard to let go a site that has more than 200 pages of journaling, vacations, birthdays, poems, holidays and fun things we did as a country friends community. I think it is time for me to make the move. So little by little I will be printing out my pages before I close my site down in a year because I had just renewed my webhost for another year.

I have decided to start saving the web pages at my Web home. At some point in time I will have to give it up. I have had the site for around 18 years and I have enjoyed having it. But I am thinking that I need to spend more time putting things on paper. I need to scrap pictures and journal my memories. I need to make better use of my time because time is going way to fast. I went to my Website and saved the page I did on Autumn Reflections. I took out the html and revised it. I just have print it out. I plan to do that with every page I have written and put it in a notebook. The seasons and years are going by way to fast now so I have to make the most of it. The link to my webhome and blog is to the right.
