Yesterday was my grandson's 13th birthday. I am thankful that my whole family was able to celebrate together. I am thankful that we could go to one of our happy places. Eddie chose Tortilla Joe's at Downtown Disney in Anaheim Ca.

I am thankful that we could eat inside because it was cold outside. I am thankful for real fall weather and warm clothes. I am thankful that no matter what is going on in our country, we are filled with the peace of God. So thankful that my family knows the Lord!

Downtown Disney will decorate for Christmas next week and California Adventure will open it's main street to the public to shop and eat. All rides are closed. If things go well, they will open Main Street Disneyland for food and shopping. Everyone had to get their temperature's taken and mask had to be warn at all times except for eating. You had to be seated to remove them. I am happy to see how everyone is complying so that we can enjoy ourselves.

Before eating we shopped at the World of Disney Store. My Annual pass expired at the end of 2018 and I chose not to renew it. We were going to renew in the spring and Covid hit. I bought some kitchen towels and a cocoa set for my cocoa bar that I set up at Christmas.

There were lots of things I liked, but I did not get them.  I had to try on the new Holiday ears but did not buy them. I love the Ginger Mickey design because I love gingerbread!

I am thankful for my family and thankful to make memories for the grandkids. I am thankful for the hugs I get from my grandkids and it brings joy to my heart!

Thankful for dental insurance and for my visit to the dentist today!

Thankful to our Veterans of the past, present and future!
