Cruise 2025 Day 3

Hubby always wakes up before I do so he left early to get some coffee and something to hold him until I was ready to eat.  Hubby was looking out the balcony and could see a lot of small boats on the water. That is when he spotted whales spouting. He was able to record some of them, but I can't upload it.  We had lunch at the buffet and then got ready for our excursion.

This is the digital information sheet we got on our Medallion Ap.
I sure miss the paper handouts.
We headed to the theater where we all went to our excursion groups. We walked down to the 4th floor to get into the Tenders. You scan your Medallion to get off and on the ship.

Cabo San Lucas does not have a port for cruise ships so water taxis or Tenders come right up to the boat.

We met a young couple from Nebraska who were taking a vacation from the snow.
We would be in the mid 70's and sunny for our excursion.
As soon as we got off the Tender at the marina, our group was directed to board the Cabo Rey
for ride to the famous end with the Arches of Cabo, at the tip of Baja California.
We found seats on the second level. Everyone one got a juice of mango, pineapple and papaya and it was really good. They did not serve alcoholic drinks on the excursion. We arranged the excursion through the ship so that we were taken care of by vetted companies.

I love being out in the open water. I love the air on my face and the fresh smell of the ocean.
I moved up to the top level and then hubby eventually joined me.

We returned back to the Marina and got on a large air-conditioned touring bus to our next stop.
We visited a Glass Blowing shop. So many pretty things. We saw a demonstration of the whole
process of creating something. It was very interesting. We did not have a lot of time to shop.
Next time we will have an app to determine the rate of exchange.
We only bought a shot glass for our son because they collect them.

We headed to our next stop, a restaurant on a hill where we could look down
to the sea and take in the whole area.  They still had a Christmas tree up which was nice to see.
Everyone got a free drink and hubby
ordered a quesadilla with salsa that was really good!

We did not stay long before it was time to our next stop.
The Central Plaza of Jose Del Cabo.
Our main interest here was the Mission

We took one more picture before leaving the Mission and did a little shopping.
I wanted to get a little Nativity set, but the prices were too high so I passed it up.
We still had two more shopping days.

This was a chocolate bar, and I tired a few samples, but didn't get any.
Mexican chocolate is much richer and has a deeper flavor.
Chocolate originates from South and Central America and
was first known for drink without sugar in it.

Time to head back. The bus drive was nice and we got to see the sun set.
I was using my phone since hubby's phone was lot on battery life.

We got back around 7 and went to freshen up in our cabins and then
off to a late dinner at the Skagway Dining room at 7:45

I had the grilled seafood dish, with red snapper, salmon, shrimp and sea scallops over jasmine rice, Bok choy and a mango lime salsa. It was so good!

Hubby had the Beef Stroganoff

Then we went to the 9:00 show in the Princess Theater.
The performer Liam Stewart was singing the popular songs of Elton John.

When we got to the room, the itinerary for the next day.
We looked at our app to see the information sheet on Mazatlán.
