Tuesday 4 March!

March Weather or Not!
Welcome back to another Tuesday 4 in honor of Toni Taddeo it's founder.

They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Sometimes it is the reverse.  March has a
lot of happenings like March 1st the start of Mardi Gras, the 13th is Daylight Savings Time, the Ides of March on the 15th, St Patrick's Day on the 17th, the first day of Spring on the 20th this year   March 29-31 are the "borrowing days" when weather is traditionally rough or stormy.

1.  Do you celebrate Mardi Gras or St. Patrick's Day and how do you celebrate them? I do not celebrate Mardi Gras. I plan to do some painting early in the day. I will work on my Lend Bible study prep for Wednesday. The study is called Atonement. I went to a Methodist church as a child and youth and I don't remember doing anything for Lent. I know I had friends that had to give up something.

I do a little decorating for St Patrick's Day, and I will start that later in the week.

2. Do you decorate for the spring in any way at all? After St. Patrick's Day, I will decorate for spring/Easter. I still have hearts on my seasonal tree. I will take those down and put up a St, Patrick's garland, but not ornaments. Then I will change the tree to Spring/Easter. I have a lot of cute Hallmark ornaments and pastel lights.

3. Daylight savings time doesn't make the day longer.  Experts say it puts kids' heath at risk as well as contribute to heart problems for adults.  Arizona and Hawaii don't change times.  It began as "war time" so war workers in WW2 could come home in the light. What about you though? Are you happy to see it return or not?  I do not like the change in time. I am retired and I don't have to worry about it much.

4. How has the weather been in your neck of the woods as March approaches.  What would be your ideal for weather? The weather has been a roller coaster during the past few weeks. Today will be 89 and by Friday we will be at 58 with a chance of rain. Next week it will be more normal and back in the 70's. I like the high 70's. I also like the rain, so it makes things green.
