My regular blog is at Susan's Garden of Friendship
The link is to the right. Lots of inspirational pages too.
I hope to see you there!
I still blog at Susan's Garden of Friendship, but once in awhile I will post here.
I would like to learn how to do more here, but am limited in time as I prepare for a move at the end of the month.
I love to use my oils to help me sleep. I like to diffuse lavender and cedarwood. They both help you to relax.
Here we are in front of soon to be new home! More information at my regular blog.

My regular blog is at Susan's Garden of Friendship
The link is to the right. I have had that blog for 15 years!
I know I will have to give it up someday, so I am glad I have this one.
I have been learning a lot about essential oils and my collection is building up. I am a consultant for Young Living Oils. but not really pushing it. I was able to make some deodorant for a friend that just found out she has breast cancer. She wants to fight it with a holistic approach. I asked her to check with her Dr to make sure it was ok.
For over 5000 years, man has been using oils, so it is not a new thing. But with the advent of "modern" medicine made in labs, many have not learned about home made remedies. My cousin and I were talking about how our grandmas and other older relatives would gives us herbal teas they made from their yard. How they made and used salves and oils to treat various elements. But what I think the most important aspect of all of it was the personal treatment you received. A lot of touch went in with that kind of care. Not "here's a pill, you will be ok soon" treatment. I wanted to share a picture, but I can't seem to upload anything. I have a whole section on essential oils at my website.

My regular blog is at Susan's Garden of Friendship
The link is to the right. Lots of inspirational pages too.
For Today -
Outside my window...Sunny, breezy, and warm
I am thinking...about my dad, it would have been his 81st birthday today.
I am thankful for... My family.
I am remembering...Happy times with my parents.
On my mind....when will this house sell?
I am pondering these words...take one day at a time.
From the learning rooms...reading and Bible studies
From the kitchen...Sopa(pasta soup) and bean and cheese burritos.
I am wearing....jean shorts and a white cotton shirt and flip flops.
I am creating... scrap and web pages,
I am going...to work on crafts while watching Dances with the Stars.
I am reading...The Bible
I am hoping...to get to bed earlier tonight.
I am hearing...news, US air strikes against ISIS
Around the house...tidy with fall decorations.
One of my favorite things...grand kids laughter.
A few plans for the rest of the week...get grands to school and back.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing...
