I spent several hours outside on Wednesday. The day was sunny and cool, in the 50's. That is cool for So. California and I am enjoying our winter. It rained a lot on the weekend and our mountains are full of snow. Hubby and I are talking about going up for Valentine's Day weather permitting. My daughter took her kids up to play in the snow. They will come back today.
Today I am thankful for the beautiful winter weather.
I am thankful for the warm sun I enjoyed in my backyard. The slight breeze, the wind chimes moving, the birds singing, the clouds moving and a beautiful blue sky.
Thankful for being able to finish the last two books of the Old Testament, Started last February with my online Bible study group. I am also reading the Bible again in chronological order.
Thankful for the walk hubby and I took with our dog.
Thankful for enjoying a few tv programs together.
Thankful to be able to Facetime with the grandkids.
Thankful I can wear my dad's old robe on chilly mornings.
Thankful for a warm comfy bed and I good night's sleep.
Thankful I can talk to God and He is my peace.

Hello and welcome to Tuesday 4 dedicated to the memory of Toni Taddeo, the founder.
Lets rejoice today!
This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118: 24
1. What makes you rejoice the most? Knowing that God loves me and I am His child. Knowing that I am saved by grace thanks to my Lord Jesus. Then it the love I have for my family. Seeing my grands at church also is a blessing to me.
2. What song makes you feel joyful or happy? Wow, there are so many songs that make me feel joyful. I love the song called Shout to the Lord. Back inn the 90's our Women's Minsitry went to a Women of Faith Conference and they sang that song. It was so nice to hear the whole stadium of women singing this song.I also love How Great Thou Art.
3. Do sounds of nature give you a joyous feeling? Yes. I have to be still and let the world around me fade away. I need to open my eyes and heart to the everyday simple blessings. Watching the birds in the bird bath or the wind as it moves the windchimes in my garden. I love to hear the ocean waves and the sound of rain.
4. How about holidays? Do you really rejoice or just kind of show up? I think the holidays are special, especially Christmas and Easter. It is easy to get caught up with everything so I make sure I take time to spend quiet time with God. I love to put worship/praise music on as I sit outside or when I am Bible journaling. Praying is also another way to rejoice. To find please talking and praising my Lord.

1.Which is more romantic: an expensive, glittering bouquet OR flowers that were hand picked as they grew beside the parkway? I like when my husband goes out and picks roses and plumerias from our garden. He shows his love by doing things for me. I am happy that he does most of the cooking!

2.Do you know yourself well enough to understand why you feel the way you do? I do now, but I wasn't for many years. I was busy trying to be who I thought I was suppose to be instead of who God created me to be.
3.Which do you do more often: let movies, songs and books put your feelings into words for you or put your feelings into words by yourself? It depends on the situation. I love to Bible jouranl and craft because it lets me express myself in a creative way. It is hard for me to pick out cards because they don't say what I want. I made my husband a birthday card so I could personalize it the way I wanted.
4.Do you believe celebrities when they are endorsing a product? They might get my attention, but I have to do my own research.
5.What kind of movies do you wish were made more often? I love movies based on history. I would like to see more movies about women like the movie Hidden Figures. I also love musicals. I am also a Star Wars fan.
6.Does fashion matter to you? Not much anymore. I have added some new pajamas to my wardrobe. I have lot of clothes if I am going somewhere nice, but we are not really going out anyplace since most restaurants and venues. So we go to out door places and we don't have to dress up. Not sure what we are doing for Valentine's Day.
7.Should politicians be held to the same legal standards as everyone else? Yes! No man is above the law. If they are not held accountable here, they will be when they stand before God.
8. If you became president, whom would you invite to sing at your inauguration? Amy Grant is the first person that came to my mind. Maybe Danny Gokey and Mandisa.
9. Do you try to write/say what you are feeling in a true and simple way? Yes, I try.
10.What is your worst daily habit? Wasting time. My ADD can get in the way.
11.If you had your choice which one TV show would you have canceled? As long as it isn't one of the ones I watch, I don't care. I love to watch medical theme shows.
12.Do you like the taste of sweet or salt? Both! But given the choice it would be salty.I love chips and salsa. Both are bad for me. I have osteoporosis and salt has to be limited. Then I am borderline diabetic so I am suppose to limit that too. It is not easy!
13.Are you very precise about what words you use to describe your feelings and thoughts? I try to be.
14.What do you feel the most guilty about? Not exercising enough and not getting things organized because of procrastination.
15.Do you meditate? I pray every day. I start my day thanking God before I get out of bed. I talk to God through out the day. I enjoy listening to Christian music and to me it is a form of meditation. I end the day by praying and it relaxes me.

Thankful to be able to watch it every four years regardless of who is president.

Thankful to remember that God is love and He knows what is in our heart.
Thankful that God gave me the word Hope this year and Peace last year.

| Praying for a much better year! |
2) Looking back on 2020, what surprised you? Covid, watching a man get killed on tv, so much hate, so sad. But in spite of all that bad, there was still a lot of good! I made new online friends and respected everyone's views. Loved how our churches and businesses adapted.
3) Have you made any resolutions for 2021? I want to declutter and walk more. I am trying a planner again and reading the Bible again, chronologically.
4) In Italy, it's said that if you wear red underwear on New Year's Eve, you'll have good luck all year around. Do you have a lucky charm? No. Praying sustains me.
5) In Spain, some New Year's Eve revelers believe that, at the stroke of midnight, you should eat exactly 12 grapes, one at a time and one right after the other, to bring you luck for the next twelve months. Did you have anything special on your New Year's Eve menu?
We don't eat burgers very often. Hubby spent the day making pozole, and after testing it several times, he wanted something else for dinner. So after we delivered the pozole we got our burgers. I had a bowl of it for breakfast and it was perfect for a cold morning. I talked about pozole on my previous entry.
6) In this week's featured song, Foreigner lead singer Lou Gramm lets us know that he'd sail across a stormy sea to reach his true love. How is the weather where you are today? Are you kicking off 2021 under calm skies, or is it stormy? Sunny and cool for Califronia at 66 degrees.
7) In the 1990s, Gramm joined forces with Billy Joel in a series of concerts to preserve the Montauk Point Lighthouse. Do you have a favorite Billy Joel song? Just The Way You Are.
8) In 1977, when this song was popular, Star Wars was breaking all box office records. The Spy Who Loved Me, a James Bond movie, was also a hit. If you were going to binge on one of these film series, would you choose Star Wars or Bond? Star Wars! I have seen them all!
9) Random question: Would you rather have nothing but green lights for all of 2021, or never have to stand in line for anything all year? Never stand in line!
